We’re located in Downtown Siloam Springs, AR 72761. If you’re not familiar with the area, we’re directly in back of Ziggywurst.

When are you open?
We’re open Tuesday through Sunday.  A wider time range for large group events can be found in our scheduling calendar.  Don’t see a time that fits what you want? Give us a call and we’ll be happy to try and fit your group in – we’re confident that we can make just about any time or day work with at least 48 hours notice.

Do you have parking?
Yes, we have a parking lot, and feel free to park around the north of the building. Parking is Free.

Do I need a reservation? What if I just want to walk in?
Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee a lane for your group.  However, walk-ins are always welcome during our standard open hours as long as there is a throwing lane available. Wait times will vary depending on the day and time so make sure to check our online schedule to see if reservations are available. Don’t forget that special events and private parties are available  7 days a week for 10am – 10pm. Not seeing what you’re looking for? Contact us or call 479-427-AXES.

Is there a discount on my birthday?
You can play for an hour free (axes or archery) on your birthday (valid drivers license to show date). There are no other discounts for birthdays.

Is there a wait list?
Cancellations are uncommon so if the time you’re looking for isn’t available on the website then you’ll most likely have to pick another.  Feel free to drop in or give us a call and try to get lucky but we can’t make any promises.

How do I make a Reservation?
Click here to view our online reservation tool. Use the calendar function to choose a date and time. Our system will walk you through the whole process.

How far in advance do I need a reservation?
Arch and Axe is first come first serve so if there is a day and time you really want, we recommend scheduling several weeks in advance. Weekends are pretty busy and fill up fast, so keep that in mind when planning your night out.  You can occasionally find an open slot on the same day but we recommend booking a reservation at least a couple days in advance or more if you have a large group.

What if I don’t see the time slot I want for my Reservation?
Not seeing what you’re looking for or have a special request? Contact us or call 427-427-2937. Deposits can be made online at check out, or over the phone. We can also double check availability to make sure you get the reservation you want.

Can I bring more people than we reserved ahead of time?
Additional group members can pay on site but we generally recommend no more than 6 people per lane. With more than 6 on a lane, you may not get to throw as much as you like. That being said, the more the merrier!

What if we’re late for our reservation?
We run a tight ship and there will probably be a group scheduled for your lane when your reservation is over.  Try not to be late or your time in the lane could get cut short.  We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes before their reservation for a quick safety talk and coaching session.

Can I rent the whole place?
Absolutely! We would love to host your group outing, team-building event, or fundraiser.  Visit the Groups page for more information.  Call or email us for available reservation times, package pricing, and any special requests your group may have.

What if I need to cancel?
Please give us a 48 hours notice for cancellations and after that we’re always happy to help you reschedule to another available day or time.  We can also issue a gift certificate in the amount of your reservation for convenient use at a later date. No refund or gift card will be issued if you no show/no call for your reservation.

We do not serve food or drinks but there are a wide variety of restaurants and pubs right down the street. We do offer soft drinks, water & candy for purchase for convenience. And always we serve free popcorn.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, your group is welcome to bring any food you can think of.  Just make sure to bring plenty of napkins to clean and dry your hands before it’s your turn to throw.  There are also several restaurants right around the corner from us or you can make arrangements in advance to cater in.

Is Axe Throwing safe? Has anyone ever been hurt?
Upon starting your coach will go over our safety practices b/c your safety is our number one priority. Our #1 rule is “Don’t be a Knucklehead!” Each throwing lane is enclosed from floor to ceiling fencing and only one axe is allowed per lane. Training and safety is explained for archery, archery tag & the Rage Cage.  No sport is completely free from risk but in our venue we closely monitor it to keep everyone safe, even from yourself!

How big is the axe I’ll be throwing?
We have two different size axes, 13.5“ & 16”. The axes we throw are about the size of a hammer and you will be throwing them from about 10-12 feet away from the target.

Will someone train us?
Yes! Every group goes through a short training and safety session in which you’ll learn how to properly throw an axe and do it safely. Training usually takes 5 minutes or less and your reservation time starts only after everyone is coached up and ready to throw.

Is axe throwing & Archery hard to learn?
It does take a few times to get the axe to stick.  However, the vast majority of our guests stick the target after only a handful of practice throws during training.  The technique for throwing is pretty straightforward and our friendly staff will be there to give you pointers to make sure you have the best possible chance for bragging rights. Same with archery, our coaches are here to help and improve your game.

What should I wear?
We require all throwers to wear closed toed shoes, aside from that, wear whatever you’re comfortable in.

Can I bring my own axe?
We do not allow any outside axes to be thrown in our facility. We provide all the equipment you’ll need to participate.

Is Arch & Axe wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely, all our activities have wheelchair accessibility.

Does everyone need to sign a liability waiver?
Yes. All guests in our space must fill out a waiver in order to enter our facility. And yes, all information in the waiver is required, even if you are not throwing. The privacy of your information is very important to us. We will never share or sell your personal information to third parties or send you marketing communications if you opt out.

Can I fill out my liability waiver ahead of time?
Yes. Our waivers are all digital (please don’t ask for a paper copy, we won’t have one). If fact, in the header there is an option that says, “Sign Our Waiver.” If you click on that, you can sign the waiver right now. You can also access the waiver from any page of our website on your smartphone, tablet or computer. Please take the time to fill out your waiver before arriving at our facility for a quicker check in process. Don’t forget, even if you are not throwing you will still be required to fill out our waiver.

Minimum group size?
Arch & Axe has no minimum group size and our goal is for your group to have your own private throwing lane whenever possible. Whether you’re a group of 2, or renting out our entire facility with 79 of your closest friends, we have you covered.

Maximum Group Size?
As long as lanes are available there is no maximum group size for your party. We recommend no more than 6 people per lane so no one has to wait too long between turns. If you book a reservation for more than 6, when you arrive our coaches will try to get you all in the same room.

I have a large group reservation. When can I come in to set up my event?
We’ll try to be as accommodating as possible for you to set up your event. In general, you can come in about 30 minutes before your event to begin set up. Depending on your event date/time, we may be able to work with you to set up earlier. Make sure to contact our team with any specific needs and we’ll work with you to iron out all the fine details.

What are the rules?
With all of our activities there are many different styles of game play options. You’ll learn all of the safety procedures and scoring rules for our game play options during the brief training session before you throw or shoot. Our coaches will continue to be available to you and your group, as much or as little as you need, throughout your reservations to answer questions and help you out.

Can we take pictures?
Snap pictures and take videos to your heart’s delight.  Just don’t forget to tag us on social media when you post: (#archandaxesiloam) Insta – @archandaxesiloam, Facebook – @/Arch-and-Axe.

Will my group ever get paired up with people we don’t know?
At Arch & Axe, our goal is to never pair you up with another group. If you want to show up and throw by yourself, that’s okay as well. However, with a group of 3 or less, we reserve the option to pair you up with another small group (kind of like a golf tee time), but we’ll only do this if we must and will never make combined groups larger than 6 throwers.  Don’t be nervous if there are only a couple of you, pairing up groups is very rare outside of our busiest nights and even then, you’re going to have a great time making new friends!
